Our location is really the best of both worlds and we are committed to bringing the quality of health care to the next level. div class=c1Behavioral Health Therapist PRN Manassas, VAdiv The Therapist provides complete patient assessments, plans for therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implementing treatment plans, coordination of the treatment process and discharge planning. The staff member will participate in case consultation, clinical work group and documentation is reviewed and cosigned by a Licensed TherapistClinical Supervisor. Also demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of the patients served. In addition, the employee will uphold and demonstrate the Prince William Hospital values Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Responsiveness and Expertise through the use of our Standards of Behavior in their day to day actions. The employee may also be responsible for other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department The qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program. A Bachelors degree and one year of experience is required. Masters degree preferred. Must possess CSAC, LPC, LSW certifications and be actively working towards independent practitioner licensure (LPC, LCSW, CNS, PhDPsyD) and be license eligible within 2 years. Previous experience in a psychiatric or addiction inpatient or outpatient setting. Strong crisis intervention skills, assessment skills and knowledgeexperience in working with the substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and experience in collaboration with staff, treatment team, primary care physicians, psychiatrists and legal authorities are required.
