The Role:
Within Professional Development (HR), as part of the Global Benefits team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Specialist to assist with the design, development, and administration of retirement policies and programs throughout the Americas. This is a challenging role where you will use your strong relationship management, analytical and project management skills to influence critical business decisions that impact employee attraction, engagement and retention.

Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with benefits consultants, vendors, providers and manage these relationships on a day-to-day basis
- Assist with designing and developing benefit policies and plan designs ensuring consideration is given to market practice, local legislation and employee feedback, with a primary focus on retirement plans within the Americas (i.e. US and LatAm) and secondary responsibilities around certain ancillary benefits (i.e. pre-tax commuter benefits, etc)
- Understanding and maintenance of retirement and savings plans, with opportunities for assisting with international retirement plan administration
- Managing compliance testing and audits associated with retirement plans
- Ensure vendors meet Bloomberg?s customer service standards and adhere to agreed upon SLAs
- Ensure operational and administrative processes are effective. Identify and implement process improvements
- Proactively suggest enhancements to Global Benefits based on feedback and market practice. Act as point of contact for escalated employee benefits questions
- Independently research a variety of related complex information requests and issues, working to resolve within the confines of the law and plan documents
- Assist with managing the communication of new programs
- Maintain accurate benefits policy information on the HR intranet site
- Audit and process benefit invoices

Project Work:
- Assist with benefit plan renewals and market reviews
- Organize and run retirement seminars and plan reconciliations
- Assist with organizing and presenting to the Retirement and Investment Committees
- Assist with the implementation of new plan designs or vendor implementations
- Managing and developing both recurring and targeted communication and marketing campaigns

Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of Benefits experience
- Previous experience in a similar role in a corporate benefits or benefits consulting background preferred
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently in completing tasks and projects with minimal supervision
- Analytical/critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated skills in: detail orientation, service
