Pacific Coast Feather Cushion is the leading supplier of feather and down cushions to the furniture industry. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, dynamic Internal Operations Coordinator to join our High Point, NC team. This role ensures the smooth running of all front office operations with direct responsibility for local HR and Payroll processing. We are looking for someone to bring their skill set to our organization and become part of the team that drives our company forward.

Responsibilities: Human Resources Functions

Handles the employment/screening process Responsible for new employee safety orientation. Safety- lead coordinator of new information, safety techniques, etc. Handles all benefit and payroll questions. Point person for Workman's Comp accident reports. Coordinate verbal and written warnings, track attendance, and other related HR functions Proper maintenance of all employee files. Payroll Functions Overall responsibility for payroll database on a daily basis. Oversee production bonus calculations. Customer Service/ Order Entry Functions Monitors customer service and assists with customers when needed. Monitors order entry and assists entering orders when needed.

Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

*Must be a multi-tasking pro who is comfortable managing several open projects at a time. *At least 1-2 years of HR generalist experience required- ADP software experience a plus *At least 2 years management experience in a service related industry. *Must be professional with a high level of discretion. *Bilingual- English/Spanish *Computer literacy and ability to use MS Excel/Word/Access *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff. *Furniture backgrounds a plus. *A Bachelor's degree or comparable experience. This fast paced / multi-tasking position demands a positive attitude individual who can work well under pressure.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30 pm
