GREAT FOR A NEW RECRUITER Overview: Must Be BI-LINGUAL (SPANISH) As a recruiting and onboarding specialist for this Houston based company, you will driving the hiring and onboarding processes for about eight-twelve jobs at a time. You'll work closely with hiring managers, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and support other HR functions .. Responsibilities:Work with hiring managers to support requisition/job posting process:Ensure hiring request process is followed, and required approvals are obtained.From standard job descriptions, develop postings that stand apart from the crowd.Develop sourcing strategies, define candidate requirements, search strategy and related recruiting activities. Track and analyze recruiting expenses to ensure that we are using the best sources for each job.Serve as lead recruiter on assigned positions - primarily management and professional roles.Meet company s talent acquisition needs by using active and passive sourcing. Note this means finding titles and phone numbers, cold calling, gently qualifying, and persuading passive candidates to take the next step. This does not mean exaggerating or prevaricating as to the nature of the job, the company, or the industry.Review resumes and screen qualified candidates.Coordinate and Manage through interview/offer process.Schedule candidate interviews (phone and in-person) for recruiters, hiring managers, and other interviewers.Maintain master recruiting calendar and provide background information and tools to interview teams.Conduct online tests, reference checks and background checks for candidates.Assist with travel arrangements for out-of-town interviewees.Assist with greeting candidates and facilitating the on-site interview process in Stafford, occasionally in our plants in East Bernard or El Campo.Solicit interview feedback from interviewers and report summary to hiring managers.Ensure timely and detailed entry of interview feedback and candidate updates in the Applicant Tracking System.Verify and process candidate expense information.Drive all hiring efforts toward resolution, including drafting offer letters for approval by the hiring manager, communicating with non-selected applicants, and setting up the new hire for processing internally.Set up the new hire for all required new hire training and integration activities. This will vary by role and department, but should take between two and five hours per new hire/role to develop and manage. Effectiveness in this role will be decided by three factors: time to hire, quality of hire, and the employee and hiring manager's evaluation of the onboarding and training experience. Qualifications:College degree preferred, but not necessary, provided you show strong written English, math, planning, and analytical skills.2+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience in a corporate setting with multiple offices/groups. Experience with manufacturing or construction industry a plus.Boolean search and knowledge of recruiting tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Jigsaw, ZoomInfo, Social Media outlets, and other available resources used to collect data, find people, etc. Note Boolean skills will be tested.The confidence and resourcefulness to perform professional, but aggressive, phone sourcing effectively. This will be tested.Persuasion and teamwork skills to help busy hiring managers prioritize finding the right fit for their open roles.Strong knowledge and ability to effectively use MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). (Will be tested.)Experience with data exports/imports to various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). We use iCIMS, but any ATS experience is fine.Must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills.Demonstrated self-starter with a strong work ethic and unquestioned integrity. Curious and resourceful about new tools and best practices.Proven track record of managing and coordinating multiple high-volume project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, tracking from approval through orientation.
