You will manage a team of four in a manufacturing setting between two plants. You will add value by focusing on continuous improvement and provide support, structure and training for the human resources team. This direct hire B Bilingual Human Resources Director /B job is located in the Kenosha, WI area. As a qualified candidate, you will have a minimum of three years of human resources experience in a director level capacity and a minimum of five years of experience in human resources management. You will have prior experience working for a manufacturing organization, ideally within the food or meat processing industry. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, but an MBA is preferred. As an ideal candidate, you will be bilingual in Spanish and have a have a strong understanding of Safety, OSHA, Union, Employee Relations, HR policy, and ADP Workforce Now. li Manage and lead a human resources team in regards to employment issues: corrective action, grievance resolution, and other employee relations matters. /li li Oversee the recruitment process for salaried and hourly employees for two manufacturing plants. /li li Participate in Union negotiations and interpret collective bargaining agreement. /li li Oversee new employee orientation and new hire paperwork to ensure compliancy with company policies and procedures. /li li Design and maintain an Affirmative Action Plan and ensure compliance with EEO regulations. /li li Ensure employee files are maintained on all employment activities within ADP Workforce Now. /li li Stay current on all federal and state HR laws and regulations and monitor labor laws. /li li Develop and implement HR policies and procedures focused on continuous improvement. /li li Lead open enrollment and benefits administration. /li li Support plant training programs and develop additional trainings to engage and support the employee pool. /li li Oversee and manage unemployment claims. /li li Lead the safety management process: plant inspections, new hire orientation, issuance of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensure proper maintenance of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and workers compensation related documentation. /li li Maintain OSHA reports, incident rates, safety committee, safety tool talks, safety meetings, and safety audits. /li li Administer and manage the 401K plan. /li li Oversee STD and FMLA for the employee pool. /li li Oversee the performance management process and develop success planning procedures. /li /ul
