The Bilingual SoftwareEngineer (Chinese/English required) is responsible for ensuring that all the features of the infotainment head unit perform at the optimal system efficiency to reduce the processing time and increase reliability.
-Identify product requirements or performance issues. Work with software team to negotiate resolution.
-The embedded softwareengineer is responsible for ensuring that all the features of the infotainment head unit perform at the optimal system efficiency to reduce the processing time and increase reliability.
-The Engineer in this position will focus their time on testing software and suggesting opportunities for improvement at our head office. Opportunity for development is possible with local projects.
-Ability to analyze existing external and internal object-oriented, embedded software to add features, make modifications, and/or port to different platforms.
-Requires C/C++ programming background and experience developing products with embedded operating systems.
-Extensive working knowledge with Linux and/or other OS.
-UML and Software documentation experience (CMMI or SPICE preferred).
-Experience in Embedded/Software Development.
-Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger's, compilers, etc.).
-Good knowledge of Ethernet technologies.
-Working knowledge of physical communication buses including: I2C, RS232, SPI or other serial interfaces.
-Expertise in designing software validation approaches.
-Minimum education: BSEE, BSCS, or BSCE or comparable experience. MSEE, MSCS or MSCE preferred.
-Bilingual (Chinese/English) required ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
