Job Description This position will be responsible for providing HR support to two businesses that include approximately 300 employees located in two non union manufacturing facilities in Elgin IL. Working under the direction of Sr. Manager HR, this position will focus on daily administration of all HR policies / programs (salaried and hourly) and function as first level of support for the site leadership teams. Primary duties include maintaining an environment of positive employee relations while taking the lead on most performance improvement initiatives, investigations, discipline administration and local employee development programs. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing tactical work direction for a HR Generalist and helping to drive the implementation of Siemens Production System. Additional items: * BS/BA required. Preferred fields of Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or equivalent field of study. * 8 plus years of related experience. * Effective oral and written communication. * Fluent in Spanish, required. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Able to apply a high level of confidentiality * Exceptional time management and organizational skills * Must possess above average proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) * Working knowledge of PeopleSoft is preferred. * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment managing multiple priorities and projects * Manufacturing background with labor experience is preferred. * PHR Certification is a plusIndustries: Computer Software Conglomerates Electronics and Misc.
