- Apply scientific & statistical principles to accomplish a wide variety of technical applications for development of next generation sequencing assays for molecular diagnostics

- Design, conduct, analyze multi-variable experiments (DOE), & write technical protocols, reports & testing procedures to develop new products & processes in a regulatory-compliant environment

- Build strong working relationships in project team to develop & commercialize new diagnostics products

- Participate in troubleshooting activities as necessary to determine the root cause for failures & identify & verify corrective actions

- Plan & execute assay verification & validation studies - Work with biohazardous materials & infectious agents, including HBV, HCV & HIV Key Words:

- Genetic analysis Requirements:

- Excellent underst&ing of PCR, DNA sequencing, gene expression, SNP analysis, TaqMan/kinetic PCR & DNA microarray skills as well as proven h&s-on experience with next generation sequencing technology including chemistry & analysis tools
