Opportunity provides fantastic pay with generous profit sharing and the chance to work with a closely knit team of experts from diverse fields.RESPONSIBILITIES:Produce rigid, flex and rigid-flex layouts within IPC class 2 & 3 standardsWork closely with fabrication and assembly partners managing project deadlines, costs, and DFM requirementsCreate gerber package files and technical specifications for suppliers/manufacturersSupport R&D technical department evaluating design work, estimating layout space requirements, layer stack-up demands, and cost impactsCoordinate with mechanical teams building DXF and IDF filesMange component library to generate accurate CAD footprints, symbols and detailed production BOMs.Evaluate layout design using simulation tools on signals and power routs.Integrating STEP models into Allegro PCB package symbolsAble to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines in fast-paced environmentParticipate in Schematic & layout review with teams.QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient in Cadence Allegro, OrCAD tools. (Experience with Altium and SolidWorks a plus.)Demonstrates solid knowledge of IPC Design Standards for rigid and flex board designs.Strong understanding of rigid, flexible and rigid-flex fabrication process and can help optimizing manufacturability, reliability, cost, and assembly process.Work experience on dynamic flex designs with controlled impedances.Work on space constrained layouts incorporating uBGA, blind and buried vias and via in pad techniques.Good understanding of electronic fundamentals, circuit interconnection, and power flowBackground in low power embedded systems and I2C, SPI, and RS232 interfaces.Experience in HDI techniques, PCB layouts with 10GHz signals, differential pairs, etc.Familiar with modern passive and active electronics componentsFamiliar with surface-mount and ball-grid array componentsExperience in sensitive RF and controlled dielectric designsExperience with signal integrity and EMI/EMC design best practices.Software macros or scripting skillsExperience managing Orcad CIS database with EMA CIP experienceAnalytical, organized and detailed orientedGood communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
