span We are actively recruiting for a B Bookkeeper /B to join our client in B Forsyth County /B , just north of Winston-Salem.  Candidates should have B at least 3 years of recent experience /B working as an individual contributor with a primary focus on Bookkeeping.  As the Bookkeeper you will be responsible for maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.  In addition, this candidate will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll departments as needed, and should have exposure to these departments. br   br B Additional responsibilities include… /B br ul
li Maintaining accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions /li li Maintaining and balancing general ledger by reconciling entries /li li Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends /li li Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements and advising management as needed /li /ul
B   /B br B You must meet the following qualifications… /B br ul
li Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Bookkeeper, and serving as an individual contributor /li li Minimum of Associate’s Degree, highly preferred /li li Proven analytical and problem-solving skills /li li Sense of urgency and attention to detail /li li Exposure to AP, AR and Payroll activities/departments /li li Strong understanding of debits and credits /li li Experience in Accounting Software (such as QuickBooks) /li li Strong data entry skills (speed and accuracy) /li li Intermediate to advanced MS Excel Skills /li /ul
