Salary: $106K Bonus: +50% historical payout

Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Description:

*

New Product Development Marketing
*

Develop and/or optimize concepts and positionings for products to be developed
*

Build consumer learnings into product design
*

Provide input to marketing research (concept writing, establishing stimuli, etc.)
*

Develop and execute plans for in-market tests and/or national launches
*

Coordinate packaging/labels
*

Analyze research output
*

Manage external resources such as product development; market research vendors; advertising, package design and promotion agencies
*

Project Management
*

Establish the business case based on consumer need
*

Provide for Marketplace differentiation
*

Work cross functionally to determine critical path from concept to launch
*

Develop, manage and execute project plans
*

Process management (SharePoint)
*

Deliver against timeline and budget commitments
*

Analyze project progress against goals; course correct and adjust plans as needed
*

Provide team leadership with Brand Leadership, Marketing Research, RD&I, Supply Chain and external agencies
*

Engage the appropriate business resources throughout the product development cycle
*

Lead cross-functional communication and communication of Core project implications company-wide
*

Develop team skill sets through leadership, inclusion and coaching
*

Responsible to coach and provide appropriate feedback to direct/indirect reports, peers, supervisors and brokers for improving business performance
*

Motivate project teams to achieve objectives set for the team
*

New Product Development Planning
*

Identify potential projects through research, demand space analysis, and regular cross functional discussion
*

Set objectives and strategies, assess strategic implications, risks and opportunities
*

Identify resource needs to achieve objectives
*

Collaborate with Adjacency, Technology, and Stewardship to prioritize projects, resources, and opportunity/risk
*

Coordinate the demand space translation
*

Core Stream Process Improvement
*

Identify and recommend process improvements, including new marketing research tools/techniques
*

Share project "lessons learned" with wider Stream team to help avoid the same pitfalls in the future

Qualifications

*

Bachelor's DegreeRequired, MBA strongly prefered
*

Minimum 5 -7years required in Brand Management, Trade Management, Category Management, Sales or related go-to market function, consumer packaged goods experiencepreferred.
*

Specialized Skills: Should demonstrate strength in the following areas: collaborative leadership, communication, strategic-thinking, and analytical skills
