Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
The eBay Inc. Mobile organization is looking for QA Build and Automation Engineer who is passionate about mobile, quality, build and automation. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about eBay and all things mobile and is excited about tackling the challenges of product validation in the mobile space. With emphasis on Android applications.
You will be responsible for...
-Building and releasing applications and products to QA and production environments and documenting the processes.
-Configuring and maintaining defect and test management tools.
-Working closely with the product and development teams (both remote and local) to understand product requirements, architecture and technology.
-Coordinating and testing mobile eBay apps for different mobile products and smart phones.
-Developing infrastructure for automated QA tests (Test Harness, API and others).

Job Requirements
-BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.
-5+years of combined experience as a software QA and/or build engineer.
-Strong understanding of QA methodology and good programming skills.-Experience in automated frameworks such as JUNIT, OCUNIT, SELENIUM, WEBDRIVER
-Experience in creating or testing mobile applications.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Comfortable with Mac/Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.
-Working knowledge of JIRA a plus.
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish critical business objectives
