JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Bus Operator will drive a transit bus on campus and city streets to safely transport members of the campus community and the general public on fixed scheduled bus routes. This position will perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check, as well as accumulate and record statistics for daily reports on fixed route service. Other duties as assigned.
Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as well as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

* The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
* Age 18 or older
* A valid Arkansas Driver s License in good standing
* Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, as evidenced in application materials
* Must be able to pass DOT physical examination and obtain a DOT medical examiners certificate

Job provides minor annoyances. Unpleasant sights or odors may be encountered. Noise levels due to machinery or equipment in use might preclude normal conversational levels.
Monday - Saturday 6:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. (flexible 4-8 hour shifts)
