Bus Sys Analst Exec Advisor-Job Family - Testing BSA - 54039

This position is virtual and can be located anywhere in the US. � This position collaborates with business and IT partners to facilitate and manage the end-to-end development of Business Requirements from Stakeholder Requests through elicitation, gathering, organizing, approval and management of business requirements in development efforts. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Coordinates approvals and additional feedback needed from business as the need arises during the process of capturing technical/design and/or develop/build requirements
- Coordinates changes and updates to end-to-end business requirements, rules and use cases at each re-iteration of design
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver required documentation which may include: Business Requirements Document (Stakeholder Requests, Features/Business Rules, Non-Functional Requirements), User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, Change Requests and/or Training Documentation
- Contribute in the development of project plans, technical design and testing plans
- Managing any change requests related to the project plans to meet agreed upon deadlines
- Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
- Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Facilitate process re-engineering efforts including process mapping and documenting Current vs. Future State business processes
- Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. � SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Proficient with IBM Rational tools Requisite Pro and ClearQuest
- Demonstrated understanding of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) process framework
- Demonstrated experience on design & development of use case diagrams, business process model diagrams & flowcharts
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processesAdvanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio
