POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for preparing and distributing various important business unit reports and coordinating various up-front billing and accounts payable activities. In addition, this position coordinates and monitors credentialing activities for new physician advisors, manages advisor payroll and bonus payments, and maintains critical advisor files. It also provides general administrative support to business unit leaders and internal physician advisors.

THE DETAILS

* Creates and distributes a variety of, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly statistical and advisor related reports to both management and clients
* Provides support to billing staff in the resolution of billing disputes or discrepancies
* Coordinates monthly Medical Advisory Services (MAS) billings; validates and reconciles the booking of monthly charges with respect to MAS revenue, and reconciles Medical ReviewStream (MRS) transactional activity between IT operating platform and billing system
* Validates and reconciles vendor charges and submits to AP for payment
* Coordinates the setup of MAS and MRS clients in IT operating system, billing system and client protocol system as required
* Coordinates advisor payments including preparing and submitting biweekly payment files to AP and calculating and submitting production bonus amounts to Accounting for processing
* Manages advisor time records in Kronos
* Coordinate the acceptance and set up of new MRS physician advisors including submission of necessary documentation to credentialing and monitoring that process; arrange for advisor training through My Learning; and setting up of new advisors in the IT operating system and advisor database
* Maintains electronic files for all MRS advisors including; current state licensure and specialty; required training documentation; fee schedules and service agreements; and credentialing documentation
* Performs Administrative Assistant duties for management staff as required

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

* 4 year degree in business administration, accounting or similar type of degree or equivalent combination of educational and work experience in the field of accounting, finance and/or data analytics preferred
* Certification or advanced training in Microsoft Office applications preferred



JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 2 years Accounting, Accounts Payable, Billing or related experience
* 1 year of data analytics experience
* Administrative Assistant or Office Manager experience preferred

Microsoft Access Database training and experience a plus

* Capable of performing office administrative tasks such as file maintenance and organization, typing and proof reading internal and external correspondence, capturing and documenting meeting minutes, handling and distributing office mail, and other such duties as may be assigned
