Job Description

The E-commerce Business Analyst is expected to conduct interviews, meetings and detailed work sessions with E-commerce and Loyalty marketing teams in order to exhaustively document requirements for enhancements to or new systems, applications, websites and processes. In addition, this business analyst is expected to be use advanced tools to mockup user interface designs, data-flow diagrams and other artifacts necessary to provide detailed functional and non-functional specifications.

Essential Job Functions
Conduct efficient meetings to gather and document business requirements, work flows and processes.
Document and conduct reviews for functional and non-functional specifications.
Analyze, research and validate business requirements.
Document and coordinate activities related to user acceptance testing.
Analyze and document defects and issues.

Non-Essential Job Functions
Participate in planning and execution of code releases
Participate in reviews of test plans, detailed designs and other documents produced with dependencies to requirements and specifications.
Assist with training and go-live support for business users.

Scope/Financial Responsibility
This position is responsible for generating key deliverables related to several projects within the Apollo brand.com umbrella - ranging in size from $30k-$1m. The role will have direct impact on successful operations and enhancements to all of our brand.com websites, international and mobile applications. The brand.com mission is expected to have a significant impact on bookings and revenue through conversion improvements.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or equivalent training, experience and education
Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates) - None
Hospitality or travel industry experience is desirable.
E-commerce platform specification and knowledge is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail, time management and organization.
Experience documenting requirements, specifications and testing for e-commerce websites, mobile websites and applications, SEO/SEM, data analysis and reporting, web analytics, and international systems.
Experience with user interface design, mockups, information architecture and Use-case diagrams Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
2 or more years in E-commerce and/or Business or Systems Analyst, or Website Development

Complexity
Makes decisions related to standard activities and low-impact assignments.
Moderate supervision is required for complex assignments.
May impact schedule and budget if output is not satisfactory and accurate.
No direct or indirect reports.
