The Business Analyst conducts business process analysis, performs gap analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to guide information technology solutions into alignment with business initiatives.

-Ability to develop testing methods and use tools that cover the whole life cycle of a product starting from the initial simulations and ending up with regression testing during the maintenance phase.
-Apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.
-This position is responsible for trouble-shooting, documenting, and escalating technical support issues to the appropriate fix agents, working with appropriate IT personnel to resolve end-user requests in a timely manner.
-Performs user acceptance testing, the review and approval of testing scripts, the validation of test results, and the execution of test scripts for large and/or complex projects.
-Manages solution execution, organizes deployment, and/or support actions required in response to deployment issues.
-Performs ongoing auditing to validate process successes and define requirements for needed enhancements to applications.
-Drafts and reviews user documentation for applications and processes, which includes Project Requests and for large and complex projects.
-Provides application and process subject matter expertise for business clients and technical resources on large and complex projects.�
-Performs analysis to identify/verify production application issues and to determine solutions for those issues.
-Supports the business client and provides one-on-one training in application use and process flow.
-Provides application and process subject matter expertise for business clients and technical resources for smaller, less complex projects.
-Communicates testing and project status to Core Project Team.
-Assists with the creation and distribution of Weekly Statuses, meeting recaps, and the tracking of schedules, issues, and tasks on projects.
-Performs testing on both negative and positive test scenarios.
-Understands the role of IT environments (test versus development versus production).
-Ability to understand and translate technical discussions to common speech.
-Uses new technology as advanced users looking for errors (iPad, Xoom, Galaxy)
