EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
-------------------------
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or other related field and three years (3) years business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training.

JOB DUTIES
-------------------------
Collects and interprets specifications required to develop new, and revise existing, software applications.
Assists managers with development and implementation of operational plans for new and existing business computer applications, including preparation of user specifications.
Coordinates testing of new applications and changes to existing applications to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users.
Compiles complete, concise, and comprehensive policies and operation procedures to assist in communicating Information Resources issues to applicable management staff.
Assists in development of new system administrative procedures required, utilizing new functionality resulting from system changes.
Assists in developing and implementing business Information Resources strategies to improve operational processing and productivity.
Responsible for monitoring development of specifications and establishing priorities for accomplishing design and testing of various projects.
Reviews, develops, recommends, and implements activities related to assigned activity, program, or function.
Maintains and tracks accounts assigned to projects or programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Collects and interprets specifications required to develop new, and revise existing, software applications.
2. Assists managers with development and implementation of operational plans for new and existing business computer applications, including preparation of user specifications.
3. Coordinates testing of new applications and changes to existing applications to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users.
4. Resolves complex payroll and personnel transaction problems and provides assistance with HCM special projects/testing.
5. Researches and resolves department s issues pertaining to Time & Labor and Leave and Absence requests.
6. Maintains and supports PS HCM and data by researching and resolving issues/problems.
7. Assists in development of new administrative procedures required, utilizing new functionality resulting from system changes.
8. Document and understand PeopleSoft implemented functionality including customizations and reports.
9. Provides system training, forms processing assistance and technical support to university managers as well as co-workers.
10. Assists and supports end users with HCM/HRIS reporting or functionality issues.
11. Work with functional and technical resources to manage exception processes minimizing impact on related processes.
12. Provide understand of HRIS Service Center functional requirements in context with system capability.
13. Responsible for monitoring development of specifications and establishing priorities for accomplishing design and testing of various projects.
14. Leverage existing technology and resources to help HRIS Service Center function efficiently.
15. Monitors and improves data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency.
16. Reviews data input and output reporting for accuracy.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
