This career opportunity provides new-to-insurance industry professionals with the comprehensive job skills and leadership development training necessary to enhance their analytical, decision-making, business acumen, communication, and teamwork capabilities while supporting our Personal Lines team. A personal Lines Product Analyst participates in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Personal Lines product initiatives.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Review and evaluate competitor insurance products and services- Help identify new product offerings- Assist with research and analysis of new product ideas and interprets results- Participate in the development of product changes or upgrades to meet customer needs- Using project management skills and techniques, coordinate cross-functional implementation activities with Claims, Marketing, Operations, State Management, I/T, and Distribution as required- Provide analytical research and analysis to develop understanding of results, market needs, and to support product initiatives- Apply analytical methods to a variety of problems and situations- Work with inspection management and replacement cost tools to improve interaction with vendors, tool maintenance and management of projects related to tool changes and training- Leverage rating vendor tools as part of product initiativePosition RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required- Legal right to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship, now or in the future- 1-3 years' experience- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team focused- Strong analytical problem solving skills and Big Data experience- Effective time management skills- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and objectives to meet deliverables- Capability to work independently with the appropriate level of urgency, quality & communication- Capacity to prioritize and handle shifting priorities- Easily adapts to new, different, or changing situationsRecognized as one of America's Best Employers by Forbes, The Hanover is proud to be among the top property and casualty insurers in the United States.
