br Position Summary br br Under the direction of the Director of Financial Planning, the Business Analyst is primarily responsible for providing accurate and timely financial expertise needed by management to make decisions which best utilize the resources of the Medical Center. This includes providing support to and partnering with assigned department management for provision of all financial services, preparation of the annual Budget, maintenance of the automated Productivity system, Cost Accounting, Benchmarking and Decision Support Services, and other related functions. br br B Minimum Qualifications /B br B /B br B Education, Experience and Professional licensure /B br br Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and 3-5 years Finance, Decision Support, or Managed Care experience within the healthcare industry required br B /B br B Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /B br br Excellent working knowledge of Spreadsheet and Database Applications; Solid understanding of medical terminology, medical coding, and various third party reimbursement methodologies; Ability to work independently; Excellent interpersonal skills; Detail oriented individual; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements br br B Key Responsibility Areas /B br br ul
