THE ROLE IN BRIEF:
An integral part of the Payment Integrity Compass team, the Business Analyst will maintain responsibility for the analysis, modeling, interpretation and loading of healthcare/managed care insurance contracts in Payment Integrity Compass ClearContracts application.

The Business Analyst manages a pool of clients through the implementation process of the web-based business intelligence application. The Business Analyst manages the client relationship, sets and executes against project milestones, and manages client satisfaction and engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. Business Analysts integrate and transform institutions data into easy-to-use dashboards and reports that help illustrate performance improvement opportunities.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set and execute against project milestones for a portfolio of clients
- Design and lead implementation strategy based on nature and accessibility of client data
- Partner with client staff, and potentially third-party vendors, to extract data
- Devise creative solutions to accommodate partial data sets
- Analyze client data to identify immediate improvement opportunities
- Master the functionality of the business intelligence tool and develop expertise in product terrain
- Foster executive level relationships within the institution
- Facilitate client calls and in person meetings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s Degree
- Valid Driver s License
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically
- Must possess 1+ year experience in at least three of the following:
- Project management experience
- Client management experience
- Experience managing multiple clients
- Demonstrable analytical reasoning or quantitative analysis
- Experience with analytic tools (Excel, SQL, Access, SAP)

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master s Degree in technology
- Business related terrain (Information Systems (MIS), Master s of Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, Health Care Information Technology (IT))
- Experience working with business intelligence and reporting tools
- Solution-focused problem solving
- Experience presenting to and/or facilitating conversations with executive level audience
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in health informatics
- Experience working in one of the following terrains:
- Hospital administration experience (e.g. fellowships, residencies, fulltime employment)
- Health benefits experience (e.g. health insurance companies, health benefits consulting firms)
