Position Summary:Develop and manage Information Technology projects in the support of the development and/or implementation of Information Technology systems and services.Scope/Supervision and Interaction:___ Has Direct Reports __X__ Does Not Have Direct Reports**This position may supervise others at the discretion of the division.Leads Technical Analysts and Senior Technical Analysts. Collaborates with Group, Division and Corporation Information Technology staff. Supports working relationships with suppliers, customers and operating units.Essential Functions:- Define and document the scope of Information Technology related projects offering direction and support to team members for project completion.- Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of technology related to business and opportunities.- Develop detailed task lists, timelines and resource budgets to complete projects. Align resources to tasks to accomplish projects.- Communicate projects status to key personnel including project stakeholders, decision makers, sponsors and project team members on a periodic basis. Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects.- Provide an effective project close/transition at the completion of the scope of projects.- Actively encourages the development and mentoring of team members.- Identify and communicate recommendations for new or improved business systems or services within the Enterprise framework to support the business units.- Champion and promote the availability and resources of the Enterprise systems and services related to better effectiveness and efficiencies.- Analyze, design, configure, code, test and document Advanced IT application systems including Client server, Mobile and Web enabled technologies.- Demonstrate the ability to work and adapt to new technologies including: .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, XML, Oracle/Siebel, IBM Sterling, and IBM DataStage.Key Responsibilities:This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:1.) Web Development (Java, .NET)Qualifications:- 4 year University / College Degree.- 5 years of related experience.- Knowledge of commensurate technology for assigned area of responsibility.- Demonstrated ability to lead teams.- Demonstrated managerial potential.- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.Additional Information:- Seeking an Operations, Planning, Systems and Process focused professional. - Primary responsibilities include working with divisions, groups and functional areas to train, coach, mentor and give advice on the Sales and Operational Planning processes utilizing the enterprise tool Logility. - Staying current in the software and business climate to meet business needs. - Strong Operational Supply Chain, Operational and Purchasing skill set and experience required. - Ability to analyze demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment planning and manufacturing planning tools and apply them appropriately with our divisions. - Experience in the following to be a Trusted Advisor to our operations: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Costing, MRP/MRE, PFEP, KanBan, Scheduling, Inventory, Shipping, Sales, and plant operations.- Liaison with Business and Technical team and Vendor. - Capability to regression test and deliver feedback to our vendor on product needs and advancements. - Proven effectiveness interacting with all levels of the organization.- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and be a top level contributor.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Technically savvy with the ability to interpret information, provide sound business advice and guidance. - Organizational skills and the ability to effectively facilitate group discussion and consensus building.- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and negotiation skills.- Overnight travel to remote locations.- Relevant Supply Chain, Purchasing, Scheduling, Planning, Quality and Manufacturing process experience.- MSS/Logility Software knowledge helpful.Parker is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V).Additional Comments:The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
