SUMMARY

Develops and manages business banking relationships through business to business calling efforts and by working with the retail branch network by performing the following duties.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Makes sales calls to prospective business banking clients
*

Responsible for solicitation of bank products
*

Analyzes financial statements
*

Recommends loan structure based on customer needs and in accordance with bank policy
*

Packages and presents loan proposals to appropriate approval authority
*

Negotiates terms and conditions of loans with clients
*

Actively monitors loan portfolio to ensure credit quality
*

Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements and opportunities for cash management and wealth management
*

Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan
*

Corresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information
*

Compiles loan package and facilitates negotiation of loan structure with applicant, including fees, loan repayment options and other credit terms
*

Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
*

Assures timely loan closing and funding activities
*

Identifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for other commercial loans

Represent the bank in community functions

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

*

This job shares supervisory responsibilities with the CCA Supervisor and directly supervises one employee. Carries out some supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, Responsibilities include appraising performance and rewarding/disciplining the employee, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems but does not get involved in the interviewing, hiring and training of employees or salary administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

*

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, up to two years related experience and/or training for level I, two years to four years for level II and four to six years for level III, or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

*

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations,

*

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals,

*

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

*

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry,

*

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations

REASONING ABILITY

*

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions,

*

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to learn or knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint,

Ability to learn or knowledge of Outlook email program

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment you will be required to either register on NMLS or re-register and move your previous registration. Your continued employment in this position is contingent upon successful registration immediately after your start date and annual renewal of your registration thereafter. In addition, information obtained during the registration process may impact your employment.
