Private Equity Business Development AssociateThe firm is one of the largest Private Equity firms in the Southeast US.andbull; Establish and explore relationships with corporate executives, senior management, corporate development, and corporate finance teams. This will be accomplished primarily through an outbound calling effort, remote and in-person presentations and conferences. andbull; Identify, source, and screen potential investment opportunities for the funds. andbull; Manage lead generation activity as well as all necessary follow-up activities. andbull; Pro-actively maintain account coverage and monitor industry developments. andbull; Promote and market the funds to the business community. Qualifications/Background andbull; Eight + years of lead generation and account management experience. andbull; Experience in o investment banking, o private equity or o business development/lead generation in the MandA field. andbull; Excellent communication and relationship skills and a strong ability to learn new skills. andbull; Resilient, highly motivated, personality a must. andbull; Knowledge of corporate finance and the MandA market andbull; College degree (preferably from a top school), in a business discipline. MBA preferred
