Description
This position is a Business Development position that both manages strategic direct selling accounts as well as brokered accounts. This position is also responsible for all the strategic planning and communication of results. This position is also the liaison between Clemens Food Group and it's customers in order to enhance and deepen customer relationships.

Other responsibilities include:

Analysis and Planning
Develop and monitor customer specific one page Selling plans and communicate results quarterly to organization
Participate in bi-weekly Retail Channel meetings
Manage customer/account profitability
Manage KPIs vs. actual performance
Communicate competitive market or customer intel to organization
Perform monthly progress reviews with Executive Business Director

Customer Engagement
Plan objectives for and schedule customer visits to Clemens Food Group
Present annual / bi-annual business reviews for customers
Communicate market changes to customer as needed
Present new items to customers within 30 days of launch
Present quarterly/6 month trade plans to customers
Confirm retailer ad plans/events weekly with customer as needed
Communicate marketing support to customers
Deepen and expand relationships
Engage in discovery sessions with customer
Identify non-product solutions for customers
Meeting with strategic customers at minimum monthly
Participate in customer and industry event

Business/ Process Management
Manage and schedule opportunities via the CRM system
Utilize CRM to track and follow customer
Enter customer activities and communication into CRM
Manage and resolve customer conflict with internal resources
Collaborate with Senior Business Manager/VP of Retail Sales on Annual Budgeting Process
Review and validate Forecast for customers volume / ads
Collaborate on trade plans for top customers and present for approval

Field Execution Management
Manage broker performance via broker scorecard/platform
Conduct bi-weekly broker check in calls
Coordinate merchandising and promotion team to execute field needs
Schedule and monitor monthly "ride-along" to coach broker teams
Conduct field audits to include retail price checks at minimum monthly in top strategic accounts

Requirements
4 year College Degree

Project Management Experience

Strong Interpersonal Skills

Self Motivated and Able to Manage and Prioritize with little supervision

Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills

Strong Written and Verbal and Listening skills

Strong Leadership skills

Preferred broker Management Experience
