Business Development Manager
* Develop profitable and long lasting business in his area of responsibility
* Coordinate the development of a coherent product offering from European source units primarily aimed at US & Canadian utilities.
dAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Conduct market research (market size, target customers, channel to market, pricing)
* Define the focus markets and priorities
* Formulate the strategy and action plan to be followed in the Area
* Identify and recommend appointment of distributors and Agents where necessary
* Pilot strategic cooperation with internal and external (e.g. domestic OEM) partners
* Assist in qualifying and customizing products in cooperation with concerned Product Managers
* Coordinate with business group marketing activities
* Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals in an aggressive timeframe.
* Play a key role in the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy, account approach and selling strategies to create new business opportunities
* Liaise with product development and production teams in European units of business group to develop appropriate products and specifications to meet or exceed sales targets and customer requirements
