The Business Development Managers objective is to proactively call on unsold or undersold prospects and jointly sell, with local RSM, any opportunities that are generated. Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and executing prospecting strategies for non ShopperTrak clients in the territory
2. Working with local RSM to bring opportunities to closure. Must take lead in team selling environment
3. Achieving the assigned revenue and accountability quotas
4. Working closely with the assigned ShopperTrak team(s) to ensure proper customer satisfaction
5. Producing proposals in the agreed upon format that reflect the clients scope of work for each sales opportunity
6. Producing proposal notes outlining the scope of work and the success criteria
7. Collaborating with finance to produce contracts in accordance with the scope of work and with company policy
8. Maintaining proper reports as directed by the sales organization
9. Maintaining and produce expense reports as directed by company policy
10. Up-selling new products, using internal subject matter experts or other internal resources as necessary
11. Gathering competitive intelligence
12. Others, as assigned

Have in-depth knowledge of high level selling techniques to include prospecting, strategic selling, presenting, and closing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SFDC applications
Fluency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Five to ten years of sales experience to executive level clients including CEO, COO, CFO, and CSO
Customer centric personality, high drive, and self-starting experience
Board-room presence
Customer-focused, industrious, ambitious, and organized
Able to work independently and organize workload efficiently
Excellent presentation skills
Able to manage multiple projects
Action and results oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills

BS/BA in a field such as Business, Marketing, or Communications
Retail industry experience
