Job Description

Our cents range from Global 500 companies such as DaimlerChrysler, EDS, General Motors, IBM, Lockheed Martin, US Steel to government organizations such as Naval Undersea Warfare Center and NASA. We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas market sector. A good candidate will have accompshed the following:
Specific Duties and Responsibities:

Understand the market drivers in the Oil and Gas industry to leverage GP's products and services in the form of proposition value
sten to cent's needs and frame solutions in a consultative manner
Estabsh a long term relationship with prospective cents to improve follow on opportunities
Identify and utize channels and partners to generate sales
Work with internal resources (project managers, technical experts, internal sales, and marketing) to develop and implement sales strategies
Generate a sales strategy for effective and winning proposals
Communicate with in a consultative approach to prospective cents in the form of presentations, webinars, demos, etc
Travel extensively within the North America territory to support Oil and Gas cents


Attributes for a Successful Candidate:

Closed on several large multi-year projects in the range of $500,000 to $5,000,000
Has exceeded sales quotas greater than $3,000,000 per year
Effectively understands and uses a defined sales process to quafy, follow up, and close on large projects in 6 month or less
Has successfully sold service projects (from quafying to closing) that have a minimum sales level of $250,000

EducationSkills Required:

College Degree or equivalent experience
10+ years experience
Experience in sales within the Oil and Gas market
communication and negotiating skills
Proposal writing


Preferred Skills:

Experience and proven success at achieving annual sales quotas of greater than $3 milon
