JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Contract manufacturer of Dairy Food products for small and medium sized specialty brands seeks 5 + years marketing and sales experience with a manufacturer of prepared foods private label products.
Ideal candidate will have a solid background in Foods Contract Manufacturing sales and a diverse range of contacts within the Branded Food Products arena, including trade organizations, brand companies, and consulting organizations that work with Brands.
*** Managing and guiding the interface with contract customers and the company to build the business and improve customer relationships -- including the oversight of Sales Representatives, Brokers and Channels interfacing with key customers.
*** Developing and maintaining activity forecasts for all accounts and make recommendations to management for improvements.
*** Prepare and present customer oriented presentations, business reviews, and proposals to Decision Makers and Decision Influencer's at the Business Level, and at the R&D Level.
*** Develop and manage a portfolio relevant list of target accounts.
*** Manage customer programs to optimize revenue growth & profitability.
*** Help customers to grow their related product portfolios.
*** Develop, oversee and evangelize customer contracts, supply agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
*** Collaborating with customers help Research & Development to develop products for their markets.
*** Maintain accurate knowledge of customers' and target prospects' products.
*** Actively contribute to demand planning -- forecasting, promotional planning, transitions, etc.
*** Proactively seek and close new business opportunities with contract and brand suppliers.
*** Participate in key trade shows for the contract and brand industry.
*** Obtain and report market intelligence information relating to competitors' activities and target customers including competitive pricing, projected sales volume of target accounts and new product launches.
*** Liaison between the Sales Department and Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Operations Departments and other key players in order to effectively serve and evangelize for customers.
