BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

FLEXIBLE-WILLING TO TRAVEL AND COULD WORK FROM HOME OFFICE 2-3 DAYS A WEEK!

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of consumer survey software. This software will increase a Business' understanding of their customers, their brand, their employees and their target market. This software will help to improve a business' sales of products and also allow the business to produce newer and more on-target products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for developing relationships with prospective and current clients, closing business from a combination of corporate clients, not-for-profit clients and small-mid sized start up business.

Responsible for all aspects of sales planning, sales budget, partnering with marketing and client project managers to ensure clients overall approval.

* Must have strong "consultative" skills and be well versed in and have a clear understanding of current and future trends and methodologies.
* Uncover new business opportunities within client base. This includes managing various relationships within one account and coordinating internal resources to best service the client needs.
* Develop and maintain client relationships by conducting regular proactive contact campaigns to generate business.
* Work closely with and clearly translate the client's business objectives to a project team of internal/international technical experts who will implement a technical solution for the client.
* Make sales presentations, writing proposals and providing bids to clients.
* 5 plus years of sales and account management experience
* Must be a goal oriented, persuasive, self motivated and independent worker
* Must be able to work well under pressure and be efficient in meeting deadlines
* Must be willing to travel
* Bachelor's degree
* Fluent in Sales Force
* Strong understanding of business software solutions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

* Professional experience Marketing Research and Software Sales
* Must be willing to travel
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or IT
