Business Development/Sales Representative I - Advanced Materials
Position Overview:Under minimal supervision and direction, the Business Development/Sale Representative will identify, develop and close new sales opportunities in Printed Electronics applications and other key target applications/markets, for Advance Materials.Functions/Responsibilities:Work with Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute a sales development plan. Identify decision makers from targeted leads in order to start sales process Determine key players in both technical and commercial areas. Drive the sales process to successful close. Prospect, lead follow up, campaigns with new or potential customers for Printed Electronics and other Advanced Materials product lines; determine which product(s) to use to make an introduction; Cold call campaign; send technical information –use the Sun Chemical website for tutorial (Incorporate other sales aids); Determine if sampling needs of customers/prospects. Follow –up on sample and follow the next steps in the sales process to close; document all activities in SF.com CRM. Maintain and expand the database of prospects, customer contacts and pipeline sales opportunities utilizing salesforce.com CRM. Ongoing product training and education a requirement; Customer visits or local trade show as needed. Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation. Generate monthly activity report by project/market. Position contributions will be measured by established target/exceeds level metrics, i.e., cold calls, conversions, trials, average time between calls, customer enhanced tool development.Sun Chemical Corporation: Business Development/Sales Representative I - Advanced Materials
