Responsible for teaching and instructing business courses, including entrepreneurship and private sector development in transition economies, conducting classroom lecture and labs; developing curriculum; preparing lesson plans, lectures, projects, quizzes and final exams; grading student work and exams; conducting technical and educational research to stay current in the field; providing University management with reports and information as required; and participating in University-sponsored student-centered activities. The position also requires communicating professionally in person, over the telephone, and through email; moving about the school and offices; handling various types of media and equipment; and visually observing and assessing.
PREVAILING WORKING CONDITIONS - 40 hours per week. Work hours normally M-F 8am to 5pm, but may vary to include Saturdays and evenings.
LOCATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT - Virginia Beach, VA
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master of Business Administration; six months of work experience in a teaching or research position relating to business entrepreneurship; and experience with curriculum development and private sector development in transition economies. The required experience may have been gained prior to completion of the required degree.
