Business Intelligence Analyst

- The candidate will be: Develops analytical BI solutions to support business directives. - Develops systems to support performance metrics, goals, bench marking and historical trends. - Works with databases, data warehouses by merging, extracting and transforming data. - Performs ad-hoc data extraction and presents in a user friendly way to support business needs and directives. - Provides detailed analyses and reporting/consolidation through the application of extensive analytic skills. - Provides initial database support for data mining efforts. - Develops, provides support and maintains batch processes to ensure timely and accurate results for predictive analytic and reporting processes. - Converts data into useful information using SAS, EXCEL and Power Point. - Conducts root cause analyses, and applies a disciplined approach to data collection, measurement, business analytics including forecasting, extrapolation and presentation.

Requirements

- Candidates should have a 4 year degree in computers or statistics.- 3-5
years experience- Analytical problem solving skills, statistics, SAS (i.e.,
Enterprise Guide, DI Studio (ETL), OLAP, etc.), and EXCEL skills.- Demonstrates
competency and proficiency in oral and written communications- Must be
customer driven; displays initiative; accepts responsibility; holds others
accountable; participates in and facilitates team effectiveness; thinks
and acts analytically; makes sound decisions to support the mission; applies
knowledge and skill to solve problems and responds promptly, appropriately
and constructively to employees.- Knowledge of database systems and reporting
tools is a plus. - Drug screen- Background check- US citizen or Green card
holder
