Position Summary:

The Business Line Systems Analyst will provide project, analytical, and technical support across the Non-Credit Risk Management department. This position requires strong business acumen with the ability and desire to handle a variety of responsibilities. Experience with project management methodologies preferred. Individual must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. Demonstrates flexibility and contemplates business needs, business strategies, and technical capabilities.


* Analyze technical issues, gather relevant information, evaluate alternatives, and participate in resolution implementation as appropriate

* Analyze business request/need and offer solutions. Recommended solutions may require reaching beyond the stated request/need

* Define, analyze, and document business and testing requirements for defined projects, translate requirements into specifications for technical project members. This includes participation in the functional requirements process

* Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures, and assisting with implementation as applicable

* Research, review, and analyze systems or data changes and issues

* Participate in RFP creation and response as well as vendor evaluations

* Take a leadership role in projects

* Identify project phases, milestones, form project team

* Monitor project progress by tracking activity. Communicate issues, project updates, and system problems to technical and non-technical individuals. Resolve problems as applicable

* Configure and maintain department's SharePoint sites

* Lead business continuity functions for the department

Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00-5:00)


* High school diploma or GED Required

* College degree in a business related field or Information Technology is preferred


* 3-5 years of practical experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or project manager and banking experience

* Basic knowledge regarding functions of the Non-Credit Risk Management department and how these teams interact with business lines throughout the company

Technical Knowledge:

* Strong PC skills using Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn project management software and SharePoint development

* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred

* Must be able to achieve a general understanding of regulatory requirements related to the financial services industry

Communication Skills:

* Advanced interpersonal and oral/written communication skills

* Ability to conduct presentations to various levels within the organization

* Ability to communicate technical information/concepts to non-technical audiences

* Ability to communicate business terminology and needs to technical staff

* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customers and peers
