Business Manager Flexographic Packaging Solutions
Eastman Kodak Company is looking for a Business Manager Flexographic Packaging Solutions, USu0026amp;C REGION. This individual can work from a virtual office, but we prefer you be based in Rochester, NY.
The Business Manager should be the main regional and business contact for all activities/issues coordination and local decision making related to their products. Efforts will include the understanding, corrective action planning, team facilitation and timely communications of regional, technical, and operational concerns directly associated to their assign product. Instances will include, but not limited to, sales short falls, sales incentives/programs, quality and customer concerns, deal evaluation and escalation.
The Business Manager will be responsible for the adherence of all assigned products to the ACP (Annual Commitment Plan) expectations. The BM will receive a monthly dashboard that tracks the performance of all appropriate product sales with comparisons to ACP targets. The BM will be responsible for the Monthly and Quarterly Operating reviews and Forecast (Finance u0026amp; Supply Chain), as well as driving the pipeline of Opportunities with the Clusters (organize, drive, and own monthly pipeline review meetings together with USu0026amp;C sales management). The BM will be expected to drive all coordination, facilitation and communications between needed regional, Clusters, and operational resources in order to drive clear understanding and execution of any plans.
Equipment pipeline management
The Business Manager will lead the monthly calls with sales managers in order to review and update their pipeline and business opportunities. The BM will maintain and update the pipeline file in order to reflect accurate booking and revenue recognition dates for the Su0026amp;OP, MOR, and Financial estimate.
Consumables forecast management
The Business Manager will review on a monthly base the Flexo consumables forecast together with Supply Chain, and approve or amend theforecast trend based on market intelligence. The BM will understand and correct the gaps with the ACP and latest Estimate/Forecast in order to ensure appropriate stock and supply.
For new products without trend, the BM will reviewand adapt the forecast on a monthly base with the respective sales managers.
Participation in the monthly Su0026amp;OP process (Sales and Operations review)
The Business Manager will provide the equipment forecast based on the monthly pipeline reviews in order to ensure correct production capacity and availability
Participation in MOR process (Monthly Operations review)
The Business Manager will ensure accurate and up-to-date pipeline and RR Estimate. The BM will work closely with the regional sales management in order to infirm the leadership team about wins and losses, opportunities and issues
Contract approvals and business cases
The role needs to identify new business opportunities and quantifies these through business cases. The Business Manager will discuss and review business opportunities and deals with the sales team and take the appropriate actions to support them.
The BM will check and approve equipment and consumables contracts.
The Business Manager is key contact for cluster sales to approve below cluster floor pricing. If pricing requires to go below regional floor the BM owns the creation of business cases to justify to WW respective pricing exception.
The BM will manage any customer escalation in the region by working across the functions to resolve a path forward for the customer.
The BM will provide an immediate support to the selling team to help close any orders.
The Business Manager will play a key role in developing and defending (to WW and to Clusters) the regional ACP as part of the yearly product for the respective product lines. This includes developing and managing the respective forecast models.

* MBA/Business school graduate or a minimum of 3 years practical experience in business administration.
* Excellent communications skills (presentation, written and verbal)
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills.
* Experience in printing or graphic arts industry.
* Experience managing (consumables) forecast trend and models.
