Minimum Qualifications

Product and Business Development Manager Needed for Korean Market

Maxim is famous for introducing bold, new products that revolutionize the industry: single-supply RS-232 chips, microprocessor supervisors, highly integrated power management integrated chips, etc. We have continued our creative tradition by pushing the envelope on light/color, bio, and environmental sensors that are targeted for mobile, wearable, health, and industrial applications.

Maxim is well-positioned to become the world s dominant bio and environmental sensor company. Our products are system-level solutions, involving not just silicon but also optomechanical packaging, algorithms, and system-level expertise that helps our customers bring innovative new products to market quickly.

We are looking for a self-motivated and aggressive individual to develop business and grow revenue in Korea, particularly at large mobile customers such as Samsung and LG. The candidate should be well-versed in at least a few of the technologies in our sensing products, and have the confidence to learn the basics of other technologies.


Research the needs of customers and gather insights about overall market trends, and understand how Maxim s strengths differentiate us at these customers

Sell solutions, including hardware and software, to large mobile OEM customers in competitive environments.

Interface with local sales and technical support teams (FAE) to satisfy the customer and secure design wins. Develop relationships within key customers.

Identify and pursue new opportunities at key customers, to grow revenue

Create and maintain a business development strategy for growing revenue at key customers. Drive technology and product development roadmaps within Maxim.



BS degree in engineering, computer science, math, or physics.

5-10 years of experience in the technology sector

Strong desire to succeed, and eager to change the world with new technologies

Korean language skills and experience/understanding of Korean business culture
