Our client, located in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a BI Engineer/Business Objects Developer for an immediate CONTRACT position.

BI Engineer (Business Objects Developer)


As part of an aggressive development team, the BI Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive architecture and design leadership as well as day-to-day user story implementations. The BI Engineer will be expected to go 'beyond the basics'



ETL experience in executing and testing complex data flows with multiple data sources, experience in designing and building Universes and creating complex reports, strong in Oracle PL/SQL, Dashboard (Xcelsius) reporting. Any experience with Oracle Applications and salesforce rapid marts will be a plus .
Minimum of 6-8 years of IT Experience

Should have at least 2-3 years of Business Objects Data Integrator developing experience (i.e., creating work flows, data flows and DI scripting)

Influence Data Warehouse Design; Implementation as necessary

Deliver primarily on 3 of the 5 styles of BI: Scorecards & Dashboards, Enterprise Reporting, OLAP Analysis

Should have worked on Business Objects version XI releases

Should have excellent skills in designing and developing Business Objects universe and report

Strong Oracle PL/SQL back end skills required

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Agile -centered approach
