Business Objects Developer

Our client: AmerisourceBergen is looking to hire Business Objects Developer. This is a fulltime permanent role in Chesterbrook, PA. We are looking for candidates with US Citizenship and Green Card. No sponsorship is available for this role. Relocation assistance is available for this role

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Objects Developer role is responsible for facilitating the development, maintenance and enhancement of BW Reporting in support of the Integrated Business Services (IBS) Finance and Performance Management (FPM) team. This requires an understanding in the areas of business process analysis, Business Objects, and SAP Business Warehouse 7.x. This position will be responsible for the design and delivery of user-defined Enterprise Reporting solutions that will ultimately include dashboards and scorecards. Under the guidance of the Manager, Business Architecture - Integration, this individual will collaborate with internal customers, staff members, IBS colleagues, and other stakeholders to define strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Gathers and assesses business information needs by working closely with the business to prepare reporting requirements, functional designs and deliver reporting solutions.
-Understands SAP Business Objects technologies to provide an integrated reporting solution set.
-Responsible for creating financial reports such as consolidated and divisional income statements and balance sheets; operational and financial management reporting; inventory reporting (LIFO) in Business Objects.
-Takes a hands-on approach as it relates to the design, development and implementation of BW reports.
-Works with the technology team to communicate requirements.
-Involves formal testing and confirms that reports meet documented requirements; facilitates issue resolution during testing process.
-Involves deploying reports and training end user community.
-Supports and addresses user questions and issues; takes ownership of resolution.

Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

-The ideal candidate must have 5 years�� experience working as a Business Objects Developer
-The ideal candidate must be well versed with Crystal, Xcelsius, WEBi, , Bex, and Universes
-Must have experience gathering and effectively documenting business requirements, building testing scripts and unit testing reports per functional designs
-Must have the ability to resolve complex reporting issues
-Must have excellent communication skills

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

-BS Degree
-Crystal reports experience
-Hyperion experience
-Previous experience serving stakeholders from Accounting/Finance department
-Understanding of financial database concepts (FI-CO, COPA, A/R, General Ledger)
