JOB DESCRIPTIONThe IDEXX BUSINESS PROCESS SPECIALIST is engaged in a variety of client support services which makes for a dynamic and interesting position. The overall goal is to provide clients with accurate invoices for services rendered by IDEXX BioResearch. The individual will generate invoices, answer clients questions and resolve issues regarding pricing and billing. The individual works closely with clients, other quote and invoicing specialists, the IDEXX BioResearch sales manager and account managers.
THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION (15-20 HOURS PER WEEK) WITH A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, HOWEVER, THE DAYS MOST NEEDED ARE WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY.
LOCATIONS: This role can be located in either Westbrook, Maine or Columbia, Missouri
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consistent quality customer support by answering routine and non-routine questions posed by both internal and external customers through inbound telephone call, writing, fax, or electronic mail.
Financial review and approval of pricing agreements and proposals
Generation and processing of quotes & invoices in applicable IDEXX systems.
Direct communications with account managers and internal customers regarding service-related information such as custom profiles and prices.
Setting up and maintaining active price lists.
Research and resolve problem invoices, billing adjustments, credit requests, etc.
Identify and elevate business process improvement initiatives
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new functionality within support systems
Partner with IDEXX personnel to resolve customer issues
Understand and support the vision of all IDEXX BioResearch business units to provide a level of service which exceeds the customers expectations
Understand and act in accordance with the IDEXX mission and values statements with a focus on the customer perspective.
Distribute quotes, fee schedules, contracts and price agreements to the appropriate IDEXX business unit team members.
Expert knowledge for all IDEXX BioResearch business unit processes.
Complete tasks and results on schedule.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
* Associate Degree or 1 year of equivalent business experience
* Bachelors Degree preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.
