The Business Sales Specialists will spend their focus optimizing business sale leads from Stores, supporting Microsoft sales executives, and generating new business in their market through the value proposition of retail. The role will requireinternal drive to deliver impact and results showcasing Microsoft devices and services.
Entrepreneurial leader who can generate new leads and build relationships internally to Microsoft and externally with small and medium business customers to drive margin.
Key partner to the store leadership team to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Impact driven through influencing the store team. This position will collaborate deeply with in-store team, regional market leadership and North American field sales team members to share in the overall results.
Knowledge of how businesses use technology and the solutions that Microsoft devices and services can offer to drive greater sales and repeat business transactions.
Facilitate business experiences through in-store briefings, workshops, events and demos. Create new and different ways to engage customers and drive business.
Generate business leads for short term impact. Cultivate relationships to build a business pipeline for longer term success.
Must be able to manage business relationships across multiple departments and levels.
This role reports directly into the store manager to support retail's strategic initiatives.
Create a culture of business partnerships by mentoring and educating team members on small business sales training.
Additional Skills and Abilities Required
Have a love for Microsoft, embrace the retail environment by being a brand evangelist, and have a deep understanding of Microsoft products (Windows, Office, Xbox, Windows Phone, Surface, and services).
Lead by example, take pride in your work, and enjoy helping and developing others while creating fun environments and energizing people through your passion.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high-level attention to detail. Able to share persuasive and influential messaging to small and large groups.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, public-facing retail environment, balancing sales floor presence, in-store and community networking events.
Driven to get results through influencing a team.
Strong people and presentations skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Open to building, sharing and learning new and different ways to drive business impact.
4+ years of customer facing selling experience
2+ years of business generation experience
Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship is available for this position
Coaching or management of individuals in a metrics-driven consultative sales environment
Previous experience managing or training in retail technology/electronics industry is a plus
College degree a plus
