span B Business Systems Analyst /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br   br If you’re a technology professional ready to explore new career opportunities at an innovative law firm, come see what Littler Mendelson has to offer.  Littler, founded in 1942, is the nations largest labor and employment law firm.  They have recently relocated their Global Services Center to Kansas City.  Modis is searching for career minded technical professionals that strive for excellence and would describe themselves as creative, collaborative, passionate, and results oriented to add to Littler’s team. br Modis is working closely with Littler’s leadership team to identify the best IT talent—which might be you. br   br A key position for Littler’s Global Services Center is the Business Systems Analyst in the greater Kansas City, MO area.   br   br   br /span B SUMMARY: /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br The position will be responsible for the support and administration of some of the Firm’s key applications, as well as fulfilling SQL reporting requests.  The position is required to assist with quick and efficient resolution of customer's support needs.  The position will require a strong working knowledge and previous experience in Enterprise Management system software with a concentration on finance.  The position will require the ability to analyze various sources of data and serve them up to different departments across the Firm on a monthly and ad-hoc basis. br   br Overall, this role supports some of the business critical systems in a production environment and sustains the application support to established service levels. br   br   br /span B RESPONSIBILITIES: /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br •Participate in development, design, testing and implementation of small to medium size software projects working closely with various key departments within the Firm br •Perform database and application administration tasks on key Firm systems, monitor and optimize system performance br •Create Ad-hoc custom report requests used for managing the daily activities within Finance and other key departments within the Firm br •Analyze and test programs to increase operating efficiencies or enhance performance of the organization br •Develop test plans and production support procedures for software and systems already in place or in the planning and implementation stages br •Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved br •Support production applications, both backend administration and desktop application support br •Participate in monthly financial close/reporting procedures br   br /span B Technical Skills: /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br •Strong Proven experience with MSSQL and technical requirements analysis br •Minimum 3 years hands on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, using stored procedures, views, etc. br •Experience with Financial/ERP systems and data (Thomson Reuters- Elite and/or Aderant is a plus)
