Job Summary

Medical Center Facilities Management (MCFM) is seeking an individual with experience implementing large scale enterprise asset management solutions for clients across different industries in the public and private sectors.

The incumbent will support the successful implementation, customization and integration of a new enterprise Computerized Maintenance and Management (CMMS) system for Medical Center Facilities Maintenance.

The mission of MCFM is to develop, integrate, maintain, operate and support mission-critical enterprise-wide administrative systems.

The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.

Required Qualifications

* BS Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or a related field

* Five or more years of System implementation experience

* Five or more of configuration, coding and best practice for each of the major IBM MAXIMO CMMS modules

* Should have Maximo server administration experience and have the capability to debug any server side issues

* Has high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure

* Manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy

* Able to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Able to selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results

* Initiates, designs or modifies highly complex systems and procedures where standardized policies or procedures may or may not exist

* Creates highly technical specifications for systems with broad impact at a campus / medical center / OP or within a large organization

* Develops unit integration and acceptance testing plans and scenarios

* May lead cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues

* The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, WebLogic, WebSphere Software Applications, Maximo V5, V6, V7, TRIRIGA

* Experienced in a large, dynamic facilities organization with exposure to general and plant accounting, construction and contracting processes and practices and campus accounting policies and practices

* Experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

* Ability to estimate the level of effort, effective triaging of issues, timely resolutions of all assignments while juggling priorities

* Ability to plan and coordinate complex development project with tasks, timelines and resources

* Able to analyze problems, determine solutions, and make decisions based on analysis

* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel and Access)

* Detail-oriented and excellent follow-up skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Possess highly developed sense of customer service

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to support and work in a team environment
