Overall duty is to work as part of a team implementing & supporting SAP based solutions Analyze complex business problems or requirements and design cost effective and suitable solutions to meet them. Should be able to work on SAP ECC and new G/L environment. Should be well versed with IC Billing configuration between FI & SD. and Cross company code configuration, FI Substitutions and Validations. Should be able to understand how data flows from MM & SD modules into Financial Accounting. Should be able to understand the integration points with Controlling Modules such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting , Product Costing and Profitability Analysis Should be well versed with Fixed Asset Account functionality. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Configure system settings and options; plan, executes or supports unit, integration and acceptance testing. Develop test scenarios, test plans & other documentation. Prepare for and conduct training for business users and others in SAP functions. Write program specifications for system enhancements, reports & data-load programs.Use software tools to analyse SAP database in the process of data validation and solving business issues. Work as part of cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
-Experience with project management and system implementation methodologies. Effectively leads and/or works in teams. Strong communication skills. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum 6 years of related experience especially in SAP Finance and Controlling module.
-Full cycle implementation experience in FI and CO modules with primary configuration responsibility
-Additional experience in PS, MM, PP, SD or BI an added advantage, particularly where they interface to SAP FI/CO
-Exposure to SAP Business Planning and Consolidation module
Specific SAP Experience
The ideal candidate will be a multi-role player with primary & broad experience in SAP s FI & CO modules as well as functional experience in at least two of the following SAP functional areas: SD, SM, PS, MM, PP, or BI.
Prior experience implementing and supporting SAP s BPC solution working with a business unit Finance Teams is required.
Hands on experience in designing innovative solutions in the Financial Accounting and Controlling functional area supporting to Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Manufacture, and Product Life Cycle Management process areas.
Experience with acquisitions, divestitures and the requisite FI & CO configurations and master data processes required to support these and related business activities.
Prior experience in business & IT driven transformation & improvement projects desired. Successful track record deploying FI/CO or other SAP functional area transformational initiatives.
Solid SAP project management & leadership skills, experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies are necessary with a history of successful project and enhancement delivery.
Two to three full life cycle implementations in FI and CO modules with primary configuration responsibility. Should have at least one implementation experience in Fixed Asset Accounting module.
Solid & broad SAP CO skills in med-device Manufacturing & Service related industry. Experience in CO-Product Costing. Knowledge of financial and industry regulatory controls.
Additional experience in PS, MM, PP, SD or BI an added advantage, particularly where they interface to SAP FI/CO.
