Peterbilt Motors Company has an opportunity for a Business Technology Analyst position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship between specific business partners and the technology systems these business partners utilize. The candidate we seek may support business partners using 24x7 applications that require on-call responsiblities.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
Demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate business needs in order to analyze and develop technical solutions that meet these needs.
Routinely functions as technical lead on medium to large scale projects.
Perform project management tasks including reporting status to Senior Management.
Work with management and users to define, develop, and implement innovative business solutions.
Follow System Development Life Cycle.
Provide on-site support of in-house developed systems.
Provide project management using both traditional and Agile methodologies.
Acquire and coordinate resources and services from both external and internal providers.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Coordinate QA/user testing and training including the subsequent change control scheduling and documentation for production releases of software.
The candidate should have the following skills:
Capacity to lead and to work effectively with development teams. Project Management experience required. Ability to work well with others. Demonstrated strong communication skills and self-motivation. Drives for results. Knowledge of NUNIT, Cruise Control, ADO.NET desired. Database Skills: SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, Data Engineering practices. Some web development exposure using IIS Server. Familiarity with Agile software development practices. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required.
Desired:
Some knowledge of application development using C#,VisualStudio.net,VB.Net,ASP.Net, SQL2005 Experience working with and creating Automated Unit Testing. Masters Degree, MCAD, & Six Sigma Certification or experience. Manufacturing process experience preferred.
