They are the face of SRDV service; bespoke; engaging; anticipatory and ensuring their contribution to the overall guest experience. While managing the guest experience in their guest rooms, they coordinate with other departments (Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Service, Housekeeping and F&B Outlets, as well as all 3rd party vendors) around the hotel to ensure that the same is maintained consistently throughout the guests stay in all areas of the hotel. They inspect rooms and ensure cleanliness and all other service standards are performed in a timely fashion with attention to detail. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: GUEST Adherence of all standards for guest rooms Ensure that all arrival rooms for the day are available to the front desk in a timely manner by inspecting guest rooms and suites for expected arrivals, in-house and turndown service in assigned areas/floors. Arrival rooms are set up to the specifications of the guest with detailed responsibility towards all preferences and special requests inclusive of floral and F&B amenities Welcome guest upon arrival to their guest room offering themselves as the contact and explaining services provided. If unable to meet guest upon arrival they are responsible to properly communicate this to the team so an alternate member may greet (Suite Guests Only) Fulfill unpacking/ packing request when requested (Suite Guests Only) Assist with coffee/ tea service when requested (Suite Guests Only) Fulfill shoeshine requests when requested (All Guest Rooms) Coordinate all pressing and laundry/dry cleaning requests either to be sent to in house valet or to be sent out to contracted company (All Guest Rooms) Prepare to delight guest and their families to the standards of St Regis Deer Valley All communication with guests will be on Starwood technology, no personal devices are to be used. HOUSEKEEPING: Supervise and support room attendants paying special attention to standards including folding of clothes left lying out and amenity replenishment. Monitor and support room attendants daily assignments, standards and productivity Integrate AAA 5 Diamond and Forbes 5 Stars cleanliness and behavioral standards in training of room attendants and house attendants to maintain/train standards as necessary. Maintain proper logs of all written and verbal communication Ensure all guest corridors, back landing and pantries are clean and orderly condition Ensure that housemen are maintaining pantries on pars of linen, amenity cleaning supplies. Communicate all Engineering defects and prioritize that these are cleared effectively (In guest room, guest corridors, and service areas) Maintain proper log system for in room defects so that these dont fall off the communication channel iNTER DEPARTMENTAL: Daily inspection of assigned/floor VIP occupied rooms. Ensure Butler presence on guest floors at all times throughout scheduled shift Ensure that Front desk receives a steady supply of clean rooms based on arrival priority Maintain familiarity with status of all rooms to be cleaned on given day Clearly communicate with Concierge, F&B outlets as well as all 3rd party vendors, i.e. Jans, to communicate directly to the guest for all reservations and recreational needs.
