In 2003, our manufacturing facility was established in the South Industrial Park of Terre Haute, Indiana. Support the design and development of new products and product improvements as well as CAD data management by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Innovative design of components / mechanical assemblies to meet the product technical requirement and the program cost, timing & quality objectives
* Generate 3D models & 2D drawings for components / assemblies with the applicable CAD softwares as well as ensure their storage in Presta data base
* Ensure CAD data promotion into our customers respective systems
* Ensure design robustness through 3D modeling, interface verification and 2D tolerance stack up study
* Is co-responsible for the compliance to the Customer Engineering Specification (DVP&R planning, realization & analysis)
* Support the project manager to achieve design, time, cost, and quality targets
* Drawings and list of important characteristic controls & linkage
* Product Life Management (PLM) database management, structure and article status responsibilities according to the Product Life Cycle (PLC) guidelines and the project leader input.
* Maintain the Bill Of Materials
* Problem solving

Education and/or Experience:
BS Degree in Computer Graphics Technology or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Computer and Technology Skills:
Experience using the CAD software 'Catia V5', other CAD software a plus.
Experience using Tce a plus. Basic knowledge of Office Products required.
