Job Description:

Mainstream Business Development organization is looking for a sales professional to join our team to aid in supporting the growth of our products, through working with our direct/indirect sales team to support our go to market strategy. Solid Edge is a core component of this position, but knowledge of other mainstream CAD is welcome.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for aiding in the definition/direction of all Mainstream Sales Initiatives and Industry focused Marketing Campaigns. Work with product marketing and sales on the research of what is need for our go to market strategy to ensure that our products are successful in the marketplace. Performs essential research and analysis of specific markets and industries so that direct/indirect sales team have a clear understanding of how/where our products fill the needs of our customers. Works closely with all Mainstream departments to have a clear understanding of what fits best and the needs of what sales team needs to be successful in selling our products

Additional responsibilities would include learning from customers/prospects on how they use the software to overcome challenges as well as create sales content for internal and external purposes.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent work experience

3-5Years of prior experience in selling CAD products such as Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Inventor, and others

Value-based sales skills

Conduct and report on market gap analysis

Marketing acumen to understand the seller's point of view and the buyer's perspective

Coordinating sales initiatives, events and local marketing efforts to move the needle in specific markets

Authoring white papers, positioning documents, marketing content/deliverables

Understanding of buyer's journey to aid in educating sales team as to reach more companies
