The company is a middle market producer of industrial products and services sold to construction and installation partners as well as other manufacturers around the US and abroad.
Based in the Midwest, the company has manufacturing plants and engineering offices throughout the Midwest and Southeast. The company has recently undergone a series of operational improvement initiatives that have substantially improved efficiency and profitability. The CEO must have exceptional 'go to market' expertise and a history of value creation through strategy development and execution, coupled with a passion for operational excellence. In addition:
* Industry background. Candidates must be familiar with industrial materials, manufacturing, as well as industrial services and installation.
* Education -an undergraduatedegree in engineering or business plus graduatedegrees in business, finance or law is desirable.
* Current position and early experience. The ideal candidate should currently be a president, COO or General Manager with true P&L accountability. Early professional experience should include plant operations, business development, strategic planning and division or companywide leadership.
