JOB DESCRIPTIONMy client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Chief Financial Officer for their Healthcare client located in the San Francisco, CA area! In this important role, you will provide fiscal oversight and education as well as effective internal controls for hospital staff. As the organizations CFO you will ensure that all assets are properly safeguarded while striving to maximize investment opportunities and minimize inherent risk factors.
As the CFO, you will be formulating and administering approved Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for the Healthcare client. The Controller will also analyze and interpret financial data to develop reports for executive management which reflect the organizations internal economic condition.
Additional responsibilities for the Chief Financial Officer include:
Coordinating and establishing major schedules and task assignments
Directing and controlling comprehensive operational and capital budgets
Developing clear, informative methods and media which present financial data, special projects and studies of a financial nature
Planning and conducting meetings with subordinates
Directing the preparation of reports which outline the Assisted Livings' s financial position
Coaching and mentoring the departmental staff
Evaluate, develop and implement sound effective internal control processes
As a CFO, you must be able to tailor communication, reports and other required media to appropriate audiences. This will require excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a working knowledge of medical terminology and lexicon. The Chief Financial Officer must also be highly discrete when handling confidential client and/or business information.
Additional requirements of the Chief Financial Officer include:
* Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance; MBA and/or CMA preferred
* Minimum 5years of experience in the Healthcare Industry
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Viso and Outlook
* Proficiency with Healthland software or other noted Accounting/Finance software programs
