Maxim's CFO Organization is seeking candidates for the CFO Rotation Program at its headquarters in San Jose, CA. In this highly visible and selective program, employees will gain a wealth of hands-on experience through the opportunity to work in 3 areas of the organization in 12 month cycles. Employees in the program will be provided with networking, leadership, and team building opportunities that give participants both valuable business contacts and practical skills.

Members of the CFO Rotation Program will initially be matched with the CFO group that is best suited with his or her background and aligned with current organization needs. As you transition to other areas, you may have the opportunity to be a part of the following groups:
Accounting Serving as a key contributor within the CFO Group and working cross functionally across Maxim to ensure the accuracy of the financial reports and information used to report results to both executive management, investors and the SEC. Responsibilities will include tracking and monitoring of severance & restructuring actions, assisting in preparation of Maxim s SEC filings, performing technical accounting research, developing accounting policies, and other ad hoc projects as they arise that impact internal and external financial reporting.
Finance Forging strong business partnerships to support business partners in the execution of their strategies and achieving business objectives. Responsibilities will include performing critical analyses and working directly with our key business partners to support decision-making. Projects could include optimizing profitability and asset management, including gross margin maximization, portfolio balancing and resource allocations; improving the budgeting, forecasting and analytical process; analyzing engineering spending & execution performance metrics and analysis; and support for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Internal Audit A catalyst for improving an organization's governance, risk management and management controls. Responsibilities in this organization will include risk exposure analyses, operational & financial audits, and advisory engagements. Because Maxim is a global company, this position could include world travel.
Investor Relations Integrating finance, communication, marketing and securities law to act as a conduit between our company, the financial community, and other constituencies and maximize shareholder value. Responsibilities will include providing insightful market analysis to internal Maxim constituents as well as to help shape external communications with investors. Projects could include company & peer valuation analysis, preparation of investor presentations and investor targeting.
Treasury The driving force behind maximizing Maxim s investments. Responsibilities will include involvement in the cash & investment management process, hedging strategy, tax analysis, and participation in analyzing corporate capital structure strategies, such as dividends, debt issuance & share repurchase.

Bachelor/Master/MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
Minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Internships and other relevant experiences
